I had ordered one but I canceled due to shortage of the fundage. I am still getting the solid three pickup custom in blood red though. I will be adding the Bigsby myself. Eventually I will get a Johnnie A though. Whether I have Robert get it build for me or I build it myself.

I have one of these in the plans for myself as well...

These pictures are of poor quality (bad lighting) which is a shame because I can tell that they don't do this guitar justice at all. What a beauty though even despite the picture quality.[/list]

I think $400 or $450 plus the cost of the Bigsby. You'd have to check with Robert though, because I don't know what it was going to cost. I ordered 4 other guitars and canceled the Johnny A. We never really got into details on that one too much because I was too busy requesting specs on my 3 pickup blood red. I decided to add my own Bigsby to that after I get it to avoid all kinds of crazy shipping business.

I'm planning on building my own Johnny A.

The thought has crossed my mind, actually. Just thinking of how to break into the market and with what, i.e. sell accessories, do minor repairs, then take classes on paint and airbrush so I can move into stuff like this^^^ Very Happy

I don't think I'm going to need one from Robert!

Yeah the truss rod cover is for a lefty. PG still has plastic on it. Yup it is a rosewood fretboard. Other than that it plays great, sounds super, and has a low and fast action. I have no complaints. Case is a little chinzy, the handle pulled out and I have to fix that but hey it served the purpose. Kept it safe all the way from Hong Kong.

I see the Gibson logo there on the headstock... what exact model is that? It's quite lovely... Cool

EDIT: Wait... I see, it's Photoshopped, isn't it? Very nice job, whoever did it. I've got to learn to do that!

This is the sort of thing Gibson ought to be building rather than the rubbish they've let out the door of late. Case in point would be the Dusk Tiger... hideous thing, that one Shocked

Well with robert on his way back soon I was thinking of some guitar ideas, one of them involves some serious wiring mods which I would do myself so here they are:

Classic Goldtop LP

My Twisted Idea of a Guitar that I call Over-Kill

And last, my rendition of Olson's Brimstone (the headstock was supposed to look like the Over-Kill's headstock...oopps)

Hope you enjoyed my crazy ideas Very Happy
