I stumbled across this website just now; this guy seems to have access to a lot of special run Gibbys that I've never seen before. Worth a look, even if just to get ideas with which to pester Robert...

Yeah, I always wondered if Gibson ever applied the Custom aesthetic to the Flying V. The closest thing I ever saw before was Paul Stanley's custom LoBue, which is similar to the Gibson.
I finally saw a Gibson Custom V for the first time about 2 years ago at a blues exhibit in the Little Rock Airport. If I recall correctly, it was actually wine red and totally beautiful. _________________ Fender| Mighty Mite| GFS| Epiphone| Yamaha| Ventura| Laguna| RM Olson

^^^ Wine red would be gnarly on a custom V... _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |
