Outside the Exhibit hall

The outdoor John Lennon tour bus stage.

Rafael Bittencourt at the Egnater booth

Rafael Bittencourt at the Egnater booth again

The Ernie Ball Booth

The Egnater Booth

Going in to hall B

The mesa booth

A friend wanted me to check out the new Ibanez S guitars:

As my friends who were there with me post their pics I'll post some of those

I got lucky... my friend who works for Egnater amplification surprised me with a badge to get in this year.

Its pretty difficult to get in if your not industry.

You know what struck me as odd when I was there?

The separation of the big manufactures, Small companies, and importers/suppliers from Asia (china especially).

Some of the small companies had beautiful guitars, but nothing out of the ordinary so I picked up business cards from every company I though was interesting every one of these small companies with guitars that were probably manufactured by the Chinese suppliers any way were like 5 grand a guitar.

Don't get me wrong - if you slave over a piece of wood with a hand saw and a chisel I think you have every right to charge that kind of money.

But the fact is they probably ordered from the overseas suppliers or own their own CNC milling machine. I'd rather just order direct from the overseas suppliers or guys like Robert - at least they are honest about their products
