I've just started to pay attention to Dean and am starting to GAS for one. I've known about them for a long time but never really looked at them or played one. The more I look at them now, they have some seriously b!tchin' stuff. There are a couple that I'm thinking of if Robert can't get me the V Custom. This:

I bought a Dean Icon used for 50 a few years back. It was MIK and a beautiful grey burst over a quilted maple top. It had the Dean "tulip" style headstock shape which was great for me because not really a fan of the wide V headstock that most dean guitars sport.
Just an overall great guitar.
Alas, I found that the neck was cracked near the headstock and since it has a set neck...not much I can do about it. Cost of the repair is more than what I can get another for.
I still have it, though I've pillaged most of the electronics for other guitars. now it just sits in a gig bag taking up space. _________________ When someone asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?"
