Hey all.

Friday again! My last day working in the engineering dept for my company: On to bigger and better things (I hope) in my new position as a supervisor.

Probably wont be monitoring the forum during the day like I normally do anymore...at least until this 3 month supervisor training thing is over.

Any of you have anything exciting going on for the weekend?

Thanks to the sale of the red Farnell I have 400 extra to play with - That should make my weekend interesting.

Congrats on the job upgrade. I myself am starting my MScEng in about 2 weeks, as soon as exams are over.

As for the weekend, I have an exam tomorrow (Sat.) night at 7pm, then I'm going to jam with my friend one last time before he moves back home on Monday.

Any video or audio of your band online for us to see? Would love to check it out if you do!

Personally, our social life is a lot less social lately what with the baby and all. He's 6 weeks old already... hard to believe! And he's growing and developing very fast; it's an amazing thing. He's our entertainment for right now, which is not a bad thing. A great kid and truly a blessing.

Well this may be the best TGIF ever. Today I write my last exam ever for my undergrad degree. I also got accepted into Grad School yesterday, so I start my Masters of Science in Engineering on May 3rd.

Needless to say I will be having a few brews to celebrate as well as a cigar and maybe some other stuff Rolling Eyes

Congratulations! Wow! A guitarist going for his master's in engineering... That kinda reminds me of a certain famous guitar playing/engineering guru from Bean Town.

Cheers to one and all. I'm gonna celebrate TGIF by scarfing down some kielbasa, cheese, Italian bread, and top it off with a pint of Sam Adams Oktoberfest. May copious showers of beer rain down on all of us who have toiled these long hours, for we have earned it!

Sounds good to me. I could use some octoberfest brew after a hard weekend of moving.
