Just announced today, Apple is coming out with the iPhone 4. Not sure if any of you guys are nerds, but I have to admit it looks pretty nice. Not planning on getting a new phone anytime soon, but I might have to go down to the store and mess with one anyhow.

I don't bother with the new high-tech phones, that put my computer to shame, besides by the time you buy one, get used to it, have all your favorite stuff on it, they go ahead and make another...

That's kind of my opinion as well. As cool as the new devices are, they become outdated too quickly. This can lead you into the race to always have the latest cutting edge gadgets, which of course you can never win for long...
I've had my Samsung Instinct for 2 years now and it still does everything I expect it to, quite reliably also. When I have some cash to toss around, though, I may look at the iPhone, but that's a few months off at best. That way the "newness" of the latest gadget has had time to wear off and hopefully the bugs have been exposed and dealt with also.

I'll definitely be getting one. I have the original iPhone 3G, so I skipped a generation and am now going to upgrade. I refuse to buy an iPad however, as they seem to be an overpriced iPod touch.
