However, i friend of mine who looked at it told me that he was shure that it was made in China?? Does anyone know if this is true? I don´t like the idea ´cause Robert told me that he built it!......Anyone? Oh and i forgot to introduce myself My name is Unnar Örn and i´m from Iceland... |

Welcome! I think you're our first and only Icelander here. That is so cool! It would be interesting to learn some Icelandic as I've got 100% Viking blood myself, but it would be hard to find anyone around here who speaks it, I'm afraid. It's not exactly a common language outside of your country. Isn't it true that Icelandic is the closest modern language to Old Norse?
Anyways, yes, Robert's guitars are built in China. He does set them up and quality check them himself before shipping. As I understand, in the past he built guitars himself, but now he has builders that he personally has visited in China who make the exact guitars that he wants. I have one of his acoustics as well as a custom made Les Paul Custom style, and I think they are excellent values. Sorry for the misunderstanding as to where they are made, and I know some products from China may not be very good, but I firmly believe in R.M. Olson guitars. _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |

Helvítis, andskotans. djöfull!! (translation:%&#%&*8/¨°+#%&##!! = foul language No sorry, just kidding. Well so be it, it´s one hell of a guitar and better sounding than many exspensive ones i have tryed, and i love it. I´m putting in a Seymor Duncan humfree wooden picup for my fingerpicking and i can´t wait! And yes. our language is very related to Old Norse and the barbarian is just a Vodka shot away!! No seriosly, were ar ok and i´m honored to be the only alien in here |

ÉG von þú njóta þinn gítar fyrir margir ár.
I hope that's correct. I used a web translator to do the translation. I translated yours and it seems you are a bit naughty
Anyways, keep playing and having fun with that guitar. I love mine! I hope you keep visiting us. You're always welcome here! _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |

Hi Unnar,
There must have been some mis communication I did not say I personally built your guitar. If I had personally built that guitar, it would have cost several times more than you paid. I am from Norway and can't work that cheap.
There are key elements that make your guitar sound and look good. I design them at my end and use people I found I can trust to build my guitars to my specs.
Thanks
Robert M Olson
