So, I traded off my Parker Fly Mojo today, and picked up this baby. A Valvetrain 535 amplifier that was custom ordered in a 4x10 cabinet. The guy I made the trade with works for Valvetrain, and had two of these custom made for him. Gorgeous amp, it sounds absolutely freaking amazing, and I am very glad to have made the trade. It sounds exactly like it looks. . . boutique Fender Bassman.

35 Watt USA hand wired guitar amplifier.

Shocked Shocked Shocked

That thing is freaking gorgeous! I think it'll be better suited to you than the Parker... how long did you have it anyway, a month or two? If you don't bond within that time frame then it's basically not the gear for you anyhow, I think.

I must admit I am a bit envious... I tend to be a Fender amp guy, and one I'd love to own would be just that there...

Yeah, the parker was a good guitar, but I just don't think it's my style, I just didn't bond with it at all. The guy I made the trade with had two gorgeous strats made by Rich Syarto (fender custom shop) that were also options to trade for, but this guitar just won me over the instant I played it. The funny thing is, I'm not even a big fender amp person, so that certain goes to show something about how it sounds lol.

Had the parker for a month or two at most. After playing the strats this guy had though, I think I'm going to have to get myself a stratocaster to go with this new toy of mine Smile. Gotta do some wheeling and dealing though rather than buying new gear lol.
