Quite possibly the coolest Gibby studio I've seen; http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-50s-Tribute.aspx

^^^That is a very cool axe. It looks like Gibson may be starting to wake from their slumber/denial on the overpricing issue. A couple of years ago I doubt you'd have seen something like this from them; they were trying to force you into a CS '56 reissue if you wanted a P90 goldtop. Maybe all the price b**ching on Gibby's comments pages finally got up to "King" Henry Juszkiewicz's ivory tower... what's next, a CS LP for under $3,500 street? Rolling Eyes

Yeah those are pretty sweet guitars, I considered getting one, but decided against it.

For those too lazy to navigate Gibby's site Wink here are a couple of their pics. I like the way they used the unfinished edge of the maple top to give you a faux-binding look whilst keeping cost down. Nice touch.
