Well, I only own one, but it's a keeper as I've had it for 15 years...
Does everything I've wanted it to, from mild bluesy overdrive to ripping buzzsaw distortion. Might look into an Analogman-modded TS9 Tubescreamer at some point, but this pedal has the bases covered for now... _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |

I like simplicity in my pedals and The DigiTech Grunge pedal I have is really simple to use and provides great distortion. _________________ Gear:

Fulltone OCD, although I picked up a MXR Classic Distortion the other day for $29. Very nice _________________ Guitars- Agile AL3100 CSB, 3100 Root Beer Wide, Schecter PT Fastback 3TS, Schecter C1-XXX

I have the MI Audio Crunchbox distortion. Its one of everything and is very highly acclaimed. I enjoy it greatly. |

I should mention that a lot of times, I just use the gain stage on my amp also (Fender Blues Junior). Although it's a single channel amp, it has a "fat" switch besides the preamp volume and it gives a nice bark... but when I need some nice grindy distortion, the pedal does the trick. _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |

I've never really used much for distortion pedals. I have a Boss DS-1 which works, but it isn't really my cup of tea. I did just buy a vintage 1981 MXR Distortion Plus, but that's an overdrive pedal anyway. I have been using a Boss SD-1 as an overdrive pedal though, and I really like it. Looking forward to the vintage mxr pedal though |

Post some pics/review when that MXR comes in... those things are gnarly. Did I just say gnarly... I'm such an '80s child _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |

I have a vintage 1983 Boss SD-1 that just won't quit. Haven't found anything that I like better since the day I got it used back in the late 80's. Has the same JRC4558D chip as the TS9 but has asymmetrical clipping. _________________ Fender| Mighty Mite| GFS| Epiphone| Yamaha| Ventura| Laguna| RM Olson

I have tried a few,
The Wampler Triple Wreck- I am sure it is killer based off reviews and what is on the Tube, but I just couldnt get the sound I was after on my rig
Barber Dirty Bomb- Same deal as the TW
Humphrey Audio Mods SLO-Diezel MT-2- Now this pedal just flat out ROCKS!!!
I have two ODs I like as well
Keeley SD-1 Stacked Mod- I use it more as a boost than anything, it is more of a mellow sounding pedal on my rig but it is great as a boost
Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret v2- This this is AWESOME! It covers all the low to mid ground for that awesome Classic and 80's rock! _________________ Guitars-ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000/Epiphone Negative G-400 SG/Epiphone Custom Explorer/Jackson JS32RT Dinky
