The Ibanez thread looked so lonely and empty... thought I'd post this up for all my fellow Vai fans...
The reissue of the UV77MC, now known as the UV77REMC, is pretty frickin' cool. Always wanted one. I'll still need to save up for awhile to do it, though This link has a promo video from Vai, done in his usual wacky style. They have a design contest also which sounds pretty cool.

Im a huge Ibanez and Steve Vai fan. Needless to say I really want one so badly but alas they are esspensive. The new JemFP77 is cool and holy expensive too. Then again if it were up to me I'd buy all PGM's |

Cool stuff. Never been a really big Ibanez fan, my first guitar was an Ibanez and that has kind of left me turning away from them. Of course, it is hardly legitimate of me to compare a $150 guitar to a $2000 guitar, but I don't really care lol. I've got my guitar interests fulfilled for the time being since I picked up my parker fly. Cool looking guitars though |

Although Ibanez is not my guitar of choice for the most part, when I worked in a guitar shop way back when, I always found myself jamming on the JEMs we had in stock... the craftsmanship was far beyond the cheesy student models they had. One day I would like to have a Universe MC, but it will take a whole lot of wife-convincing to pull it off Till then I think I can be content with customs from Robert when a GAS attack hits _________________ ᛊᛈᚨᚱᚨ ᛟᚲᚢᚱ ᚠᚱᚨ ᚦᛖ ᛟᚠᛊᚨᛒᚱᛇᛞᛁ ᚨᚠ ᚦᛖ ᚾᛟᚱᚦᚢᚱ |

I would love to have a George Benson model as well. Did you guys ever see the GB30TH anniversary model that came out last year? It's frickin' gorgeous.
Here's the page with the specs. Pretty cool process on the finish.

Love the Benson model! Had the chance to play one back in 2000
It was from the late 70's/ early 80's model ( the smaller one )
I was going to buy it, yet I went with the Gibson Howard Roberts fusion instead. |
