I have seen many folks have these on their boards. What exactly do they do? How would they fit into a pedal chain?

I don't own one, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. The most common description is that you can't tell whether or not it's on when it's on, but when you turn it off, it's like someone threw a blanket over your amp.

As for what it does in technical terms, it corrects the phase inaccuracies that lead to envelope distortion. As for where it goes in the signal chain, the effects loop would be the ideal place for it. Otherwise, it would go last in the chain right before the amp.

It's kind of difficult to explain exactly what it does. My understanding is that it helps to organize the frequencies of the signal being sent to your amplifier. It adds a lot of clarity to your tone, and is almost like a little box of magic Razz.

I run a few od/dist boxes into a delay and then out to two amps. Would I have to get two of them to maximize the effect if they were at the end of the chain?
