I'm looking for an analog delay pedal. Any of you guys have one or like one you could recommend?
I was trying out delays at the local store, but all the had were digital ones (Boss, Ibanez, Digitech) and I just didn't like the sound, so I decided I want an analog one. _________________ Newest addition: RMO ES-335 Custom Build

Hmmm the EHX Memory Boy looks like a good deal. I will have to see if my local shop has one for me to try out. Thanks for the links! _________________ Newest addition: RMO ES-335 Custom Build

+1 on the Carbon Copy. I think I am going to sell my Digitech HArdwire Delay/ Looper for one of those. _________________ Guitars- Agile AL3100 CSB, 3100 Root Beer Wide, Schecter PT Fastback 3TS, Schecter C1-XXX

Well I went into the store and tried the MXR and the EHX Memory Boy. I liked the Memory Boy better, so I ordered one (the one there was display only..wtf right?) Should be here in two weeks. With the switches and stuff, its pretty crazy, and you can use an expression pedal with it to control delay times, which to me sounds like making crazy noises. _________________ Newest addition: RMO ES-335 Custom Build

I'm glad I was able to point you to something you liked... once I move into a bigger place and am able to set up my "home studio" I'm going to start getting some more pedals.
The delay I'm leaning towards is the TC Electronic RPT1 Nova Repeater Delay Pedal for for my new set up. Its a little expensive but I don't plan on really using it outside my home studio so I think it will pay for its self the longer I keep it. _________________ When someone asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" With me it was more of a budget constraint. I have never used an analog delay before, so I figure I might as well not go for something expensive. If I like it, I might end up getting a Moog analog. _________________ Newest addition: RMO ES-335 Custom Build

I think anyone who has ever picked up a guitar has felt a bit of a budget crunch - there is always another guitar with the tone you've always wanted, always another amp that's got a bit more "crunch".
My theory is that all musicians are budget musicians.
For me if I absolutely, positively need a piece of equipment I can't afford. I will generally use American Musical Supply because they let you split the payments up as long as long as the total is at least 250. its a good way to satisfy anyone's G.A.S. _________________ When someone asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" Sadly, here in Canada we don't have those options. My local shop offers financing, but only if you are buying anything over $600 or more. Also, I just bought a $750 turntable for my stereo system... _________________ Newest addition: RMO ES-335 Custom Build
