Outside of music, what else do you all like to do?

I enjoy working on and restoring vehicles. I also love to cook, read, and spend time with my pets. When time and money permit, I also like to travel. Of course, just spending time with my family and watching our baby boy grow and learn is very enjoyable too...

I also have some artistic ability. Up through high school, I did a lot of drawing also, but just kinda got away from it later. I did a couple freehand blow-ups of album covers which I am pretty proud of. I did Iron Maiden's Live After Death cover for a girl I liked in school, using the cassette art as source, and also did Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood for myself, which I wish I could find. I saved it but it disappeared Crying or Very sad

I've been getting the notion to do some more drawings, especially with my son being here now. I'll have to teach him to draw also, which will be pretty cool Cool

My dad was the one who got me into art, and he taught me and my sister at a young age how to draw, the one thing to remember is not to over teach it, it's definitely a skill and you just have to practice. It is also a very good skill to have, even in this computerized age.

I enjoy working on my car and may be even be picking up a 67 Mustang this weekend, so I'll keep you updated. Aside from that, I love cooking and kayaking as well as just being outdoors in general.

That's good advice about not overteaching. It actually applies to a lot of things in life, by just giving them the basic knowledge and letting them develop their own creative voice. It respects individuality and allows one to find their own way rather than forcing them into a predetermined path. I didn't always get that when I was growing up and it's an advantage I will definitely provide to my son!

Definitely!

Around here in Arizona, you see them everywhere. That's one advantage of a dry climate, no rust! I would imagine they are a little harder to find like that up north there... Laughing Congrats anyhow, hope it works out!

Make sure you post up those pics!

Eh, I mainly like sports... but I also read a lot.
Right now I'm reading Mission: Black List #1 or whatever it's called.

Coupe with the inline 6. I know it's not the V8, but for the price it's making it extremely hard to pass up.

Tell me about it... my '73 Ford F100's body is pretty good; some surface rust on the roof but nice and straight overall. The dashpad and upholstery needs major TLC, though... Rolling Eyes My buddy from work is helping me put exhaust on right now so I can get it through emissions and register it finally. It's 2WD and has a 390 FE series V8 with a C6 auto trans and a 3:70 limited slip, and we put Hedman headers with dual 2 1/2" 40 series Flowmasters.

I have a 67 with teh inline 6 fastback. Those are actually pretty rare, dont take advantage of it.

As for hobbies outside of guitar and ^ that I build plastic models and play video games once in awhile.
