Hey all,

My apologies for the hiatus. There weren't any posts here for a while and I eventually didn't realize that I wasn't checking this site so much. Now that I think about it, I've been pretty absent in all the forums lately. I hope everyone has been doing well and is having a great summer.

I do actually still have some of the dark cherry flame LP's left. I recently posted a few more guitars up on eBay, including one natural flame "b stock". The b stock has some very slight blemishes in the finish and the neck pickup is a bit scratched.

Hope all is well, and if Robert reads this, I hope you had a great vacation in the Philippines!

Greg

Greg, there was a new guy over a AGF that was looking for a dark cherry flame LP. If I find his username I will let you know.

That would be awesome! I did a search but I don't see anything about that on AGF.

Didn't I owe you an answer to a question too? Sorry, I can't remember for sure.

Haha ya totally forgot. I had asked you about a custom Tele a while back. Right now funds are tight though (too much buying of other stuff) so I wouldn't worry about it. I may hit you back later, maybe in Sept after school is paid for.

Shoot, I really need to check this site more often. Sales are pretty slow as of late. It kind of seems like people just aren't even buying guitars in general. Unfortunately, I can't afford to expand to any different models or anything until I unload some more of what I already have. So, there may be some holiday discounts coming up. Smile

I know what you mean. My Douglas was at a super low price and now one went for it. Ended up trading it locally with a friend for a nice 1977 Marantz 1090 amp for my turntable.

Were still in the middle of a guitar market that has been over saturated because of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band crowd.

Parents thought "Hey my kid is pretty good at the game he/she'd probably like a guitar for X-mas/Birthday/etc"
A budget brand or low end Ibanez/Dean/BC Rich (bronze series of course) is bought for the kid. Ultimately it sits in there room gathering dust untouched except for the occasional sticker. Then it ends up on craigslist...

You can always tell the ads because the titles just say "Guitar - 50" or "Gitar -75" And say ridiculous things in the ad like "only missing 2 strings" or "professionally tuned!" - not sure if anyone else notices but all these cheap guitars for sale on craigslist all seem to be Black strat type guitars with white pick guards its like its the same 5 guitars just being sold over and over again.

My favorite ads are the ones trying to sell their BC Rich Broze series Warlock for the low, low price of 299.

I know it sounds like just exaggerating but this is exactly how I got my Agile 2500 FR-G. It was a Christmas present that wasn't ever touched.

Thank God for those parents, lol. About 3-4 months after Christmas, start scanning the ads for stuff.
